SDI Rescue Diver Course

This takes you to the next level and teaches you - hands on, during life-like simulations - how to anticipate, prevent and manage potential dive accidents. These are the skills that can make all the difference in the unlikely event of an underwater emergency.
Course Goals
The SDI Rescue Diver course goals are to:
- Increase awareness of diver safety.
- Develop divers’ abilities to anticipate and prevent problems as well as to manage them.
- Teach effective rescue techniques and first aid skills specific to diving.
- Prepare divers to manage diver emergency situations.
- Expand diver knowledge in preparation for SDI leadership-level training.
The SDI Rescue Diver course is an important and crucial step in expanding a diver’s knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level. Rescue divers learn to look beyond themselves to consider the safety and well-being of other divers. This is why the SDI Rescue Diver rating is a prerequisite for all SDI leadership training (Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, and Open Water Scuba Instructor).
To qualify for SDI Rescue Diver certification,you must complete :
- Knowledge Reviews from SDI Rescue Diver Manual
- Successfully demonstrating open water Rescue Exercises
- Demonstrate mastery of all Rescue Scenarios
- Prepare an emergency assistant plan for the location where the rescue scenario’s conducted
Course Prerequisites
- Be certified as SDI Advanced Open Water Diver or have an equivalent rating.
- Be 12 years of age or older
- Within the past two years(24months) successfully completed CPR-Primary Care and basic first aid-Secondary Care

Option A
SDI Rescue Diver Course at Pulau Aur Over a weekend
Fees from SGD$450/- No Hidden Costs!

- 2days 2nights trip to Pulau Aur.
- Use of all Scuba Diving Equipment
- 5 Dives in Pulau Aur
- Licensed Coach Singapore-Mersing-Singapore
- 2 way transfer Mersing - Pulau Aur - Mersing
- Aircon accommodation and meals at Pulau Aur Atlantis Bay Resort.
- Instructor fee and certification card upon completion of the course.

Trip Friday 1730hrs - Sunday 2200hrs
Option B
SDI Rescue Diver Course at Pulau Hantu (December - March)

Fees include:
- Use of all Scuba Diving Equipment
- 4 Dives in Pulau Hantu
- Free Flow Tea, Coffee, Water
- Light Meal
- Instructor fee and certification card upon completion of the course.
