PADI Divemaster Course

While experiencing new cultures and lifestyles, you’ll be surrounded by people who are always happy. It’s not all fun and games in paradise, but the rewards are well worth the effort.
As a PADI Divemaster you’ll be able to:
- Act as a certified instructional assisitant to PADI instructors
- Supervise participants in PADI experience programs for uncertified divers
- Generally supervise both training and non training related diving activities by planning, organizing and directing dives
- Teach and certify PADI Skin Divers
- Conduct the PADI Scuba Review program for certified divers.
- Enroll in PADI Instructor level training
Upon successfully completing the PADI Divemaster program, you’ll receive certification card and wall certificate denoting this rating. You’ll also become a member of PADI and receive benefits, including the ability to purchase professional liability insurance. Here’s your chance to share your love of diving with others.
Course Requirements
- Divemaster Exams with scores 75 percent or better
- Knowledge Review from Divemaster Manual
- Completed Waterskills and Stamina Module
- Completed Practical Application Module
- Proof of 60 dives
Course Prerequisites
- Be certified as PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or have an equivalent rating.
- Be certified as Rescue Diver or have an equivalent rating.
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have completed and logged at least 20 dives.
- Within the past two years(24months) successfully completed CPR and basic first aid
- Complete Medical Clearance form signed by physician(medical clearance, if required)
- Sign Liability Release(Wavier) and Express Assumption of Risk
- Sign Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding

- 400 meter swim
- 15 minutes float/tread water
- 800 meter snorkel swim
- 100 meter tired diver tow

- Performing the 20 Basic Scuba Skills
3) Practical Application Module
- Mapping Project
- Equipment Exchange
- Divermaster Conducted Programs
- Internship Confined Water - Open Water Course
