Pulau Tioman, the largest among the group of 64 volcanic islands, dottering around the South China Sea. Tioman is a magnificent island which is blessed with crystal-clear water and great reefs for diving . It is the ideal destination for divers staying in Singapore or for stop over travelers passing through Singapore.

According to legend, Tioman is the resting place of a magical dragon princess, who was on her way from China to visit her prince in Singapore. From a distance many believe that Tioman looks like a sleeping dragon just waiting to be awoken.

The diving season in Tioman Island is from March to November and the water temperature ranges from 26 to 32 degrees celsius with visibility ranging from 8m to 25m. Currents are generally light, about1 - 3 knots. The North - East monsoon starts from mid-November to February and during this period most diving operations stop because the sea can be rough.
